Additional Pay/Ability to Earn Additional Pay of:

The Intake Specialist is responsible for completing the behavioral health intake process as prescribed by Medicaid and WAC for each child assigned which includes: completing a diagnostic formulation using clinical and diagnostic assessment tools, gathering child and family medical and behavioral health information, completing complex behavioral health intake documentation and determining initial treatment areas for intensive behavioral health services. The Intake Specialist will meet with the referred child and their family in the home, hospital or other community setting, engaging with the family, providing support as needed throughout the clinical intake process. The Intake Specialist will track all intake data and diagnostic information, utilization and response timeframes and enter data into an Electronic Health record. Work is performed under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager.

Certified Peer Counselor Supervisor provides direct supervision and therapeutic support to peers, collaborating with clinical partners to support the assessment of youth safety in the home and community. Peer Counselor Supervisor has an essential role in safety management for the youth and families served, having responsibility to supervise peers in their assessment and support of at-risk youth in their homes. Supervisor works with family and youth peers to provide clinical training and quality assurance for all peer services including: advocacy for youth needs, assisting youth in verbalizing areas of physical and emotional risk and communicating those risks to their clinical team.

This position is the first clinical contact for children, youth and families seeking referral and access to intensive level behavioral health services. The Clinical Access Specialist is responsible for determining eligibility and facilitating access to behavioral health services by using clinical and diagnostic assessment tools to gather child and family medical and behavioral health information, complete initial clinical assessment tool i.e. Child Adolescent Needs and Strengths and verify and determine eligibility for intensive behavioral health treatment services. The Clinical Access Specialist will continue to engage with the family, providing support and referrals as needed throughout the clinical assignment process. The Clinical Access Specialist will track all referrals, utilization and response timeframes and enter data into an Electronic Health record as appropriate.
This position will be based out of FBH Northend, Tacoma office. This position requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families served. The services we offer will be provided in community-based settings and in family homes. Work is performed under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager.

These professional positions provide supervision, leadership and oversight to a clinical team delivering creative behavioral health interventions to children, youth and their families with intensive therapeutic, crisis response, and community safety needs. This position requires a vibrant and dynamic team leader that is able to motivate and support a successful clinical team to provide strength based unconditional services that support a child/youth’s vital connections to family and community. Duties of this position include hiring and training, mentoring and motivating, clinical consultation, monitoring for safety, participating in leadership decisions, ensuring complete and accurate documentation, completing performance reviews, providing back-up coverage for staff, and working with and promoting positive relationships with community partners and natural supports.
The Clinical supervisor must ensure that services prescribed and provided by their treatment teams are compliant with Medicaid rules and provided as specifically identified and prescribed in the Individualized Mental Health Treatment Plan's or Crisis Services. All treatment services and crisis services are provided under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor must be documented per required timeframes, in accordance with federal Medicaid requirements and entered into Care Logic, the FBH Electronic Health Record (EHR), as well as medical EHR's of Managed Care Organizations (MCO's), Behavioral Health Organizations (BHO's), or others per contract requirements.
Clinical supervisors can expect to work hours that vary in times and include weekends.
