The Intake Specialist is responsible for completing the behavioral health intake process as prescribed by Medicaid and WAC for each child assigned which includes: completing a diagnostic formulation using clinical and diagnostic assessment tools, gathering child and family medical and behavioral health information, completing complex behavioral health intake documentation and determining initial treatment areas for intensive behavioral health services.  The Intake Specialist will meet with the referred child and their family in the home, hospital or other community setting, engaging with the family, providing support as needed throughout the clinical intake process.  The Intake Specialist will track all intake data and diagnostic information, utilization and response timeframes and enter data into an Electronic Health record.  Work is performed under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager   This position will be based out of FBH Westside, University Place office. This position requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families served. The services we offer will be provided in community-based settings and in family homes.
